Lena Headey, who plays Dany on Game of Thrones, recently tied the knot with Ozark’s Marc Menchaca in a grandiose Italian wedding.
Photos of the bride posted online showed her wearing a strapless, halter-style gown with a deep V neckline and an open back.
Headey topped off her ensemble with a floral headpiece and veil, while Menchaca complemented his navy suit with a beige hat.
Members of the acting community, including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Michelle Fairley, Sophie Turner, and Joe Jonas, were among the guests for the couple’s wedding. As far as we know, the ceremony was held on Thursday (6 October).
In 2020, actors Headey and Menchaca started dating. Headey has a son named Wylie who is 12 years old. She was previously married to musician Peter Loughran from 2007 until 201.
Teddy Headey, Headey’s seven-year-old daughter, is the product of her relationship with Dan Cadan.
Fans praised the bride’s appearance in photos from Headey and Menchaca’s wedding that rapidly went viral online.
One fan, referring to Headey’s character Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones, said, “Happy for you, Queen Cersei.”
Someone else made the remark, “I just hope he treats her correctly because she’s got a very passionate army behind her.”
According to a third party, “I adore so much how Lena is just the most expressive, joyous person.”
Headey told The Sunday Times in a 2019 interview that she worries rejecting sex with Harvey Weinstein may have hurt her career.
“After he was proven to be a slimeball, on a bigger scale than me simply knowing it, I did start thinking, ‘F***, maybe because I didn’t shag him, that’s impacted a decade of my working life,'” Headey explained.
Because, she elaborated, “I performed two things for Miramax [the film business founded by Weinstein] before those incidences, and afterwards there was nothing.”
