John Legend posted a picture to Instagram of his pregnant wife Chrissy Teigen and himself on a fancy date.
They tied the knot back in 2013, and now the singer and model are expecting their third child together. The couple also raises a four-year-old boy named Miles and a six-year-old girl named Luna.
When Teigen was 20 weeks pregnant in October 2020, about two years after they had lost their son Jack, they learned of her pregnancy.
Legend posted a photo of himself to Instagram on Monday night (19 September), decked up in a black tuxedo and bowtie.
While all was going on, Teigen was glowing in a pink, floor-length gown. The dress’s off-the-shoulder silhouette and empire waist gracefully hid her growing baby belly.
Adding enormous dramatic earrings and a bright red lip, Teigen was ready to go.
Legend said in the post’s description, “Love me a tuxed up date night,” and included a single red heart emoji.
Teigen wrote back to him in the comments, “You really do, so much.”
Fans and acquaintances of the pair have praised the TV host’s appearance.
Someone commented, “Chrissy is gleaming.” An further voice chimed in, “Tiny joys are on their way. I am overjoyed for you!
I can’t wait to see how stunning this baby is, a third person added.
The two of you look fantastic, but Chrissy is particularly stunning,” remarked one person. Your pregnancy has made you seem absolutely radiant, lovely mother. Another person said, “Baby Legend is developing!”
Last month, Teigen disclosed that she and her husband had initially called the termination of their pregnancy with son Jack a miscarriage when, in fact, it had been a necessary abortion to prevent further complications.
While attending the “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” symposium hosted by social impact firm Propper Daley on September 15th, Teigen revealed that it took her over a year to come to the shocking realisation.
She elaborated that she had the surgery done after discovering that her life was in danger from the pregnancy.
John and I had to make a lot of tough and painful choices when I was pregnant with Jack two years ago. Around the midway point, it became quite evident that he would not live, and that I would not survive either without any medical help,” Teigen said at the summit.
Let’s just call it what it was: it was an abortion,” she continued. Abortion saved my life, even though the unborn child had no hope. And I’ll admit, until just recently, I had never made the connection.
