An American woman has made a database she dubs a “Tripadvisor for exes” wherein women may vent their frustrations with males they have previously dated.
When Tracy Tegan started the “Ex-boyfriend List,” she invited women to share stories about abusive ex-boyfriends.
“Everyone has an ex they wish they could warn their friends and family away from, and now they can. According to the site’s description, “here is your very own bad boyfriend database, or as we like to call it, the bad boyfriend list.”
In-depth stories from women are encouraged, as is the disclosure of their exes’ full names, current cities, and states.
Strict guidelines stipulate that the man’s private phone number, residence, workplace, and family information are not to be disclosed.
Tegan said, “This is for all the women who were happily in love with a guy who didn’t put enough and exploited them in ways they didn’t even know they could be used for.”
You can save lives by telling the truth about him through this system we’ve developed.
Tegan also suggests that ladies who have doubts about a possible suitor check him out online.
She advised, “Look him up, and if there’s nothing, then count yourself lucky.” However, “if you do end up uncovering anything relating to him, you know your doubts were valid.”
A former girlfriend of a man who left a review on the site called him a “selfish womaniser.”
You are not meant to be his one and only. He counts on you as an asset. She continued, “He always lies, and because of that, you feel like you’re going insane.
While another claimed that her ex-spouse had stolen all of her money.
A self-proclaimed business owner who rarely puts in any time in the office. “He photographed my debit card while I slept and used it online for over a year before I realised it,” she stated.
