Rita Ora claims to have found her ‘fairytale’ in Taika Waititi.

Rita Ora says she found her ‘fairytale’ with Taika Waititi

New Zealand singer-songwriter Rita Ora has spoken out about her “fairytale” relationship with director Taika Waititi.

The two started dating in early 2021 and made their public debut together at the California premiere of The Suicide Squad in August of that year.

Ora and Waititi reportedly tied the knot in a “very small” intimate ceremony in London last month, according to reports from the United States.

Their ring fingers appeared to be adorned with wedding bands in photos taken that August.

Ora recently gushed over Waititi, calling him “so funny and lovely,” during an appearance on Jaime Winstone’s Greatest Night Ever podcast.

Not confirming their nuptials, Ora instead compared their relationship to that of her parents’, who were married for 30 years.

The answer is yes; I am head over heels in love. Ora proclaimed, “I’m in love, I’m in love, I’m in love” before breaking into song.

Ora responded to Winstone’s observation that she appeared to be very content by telling her audience, “I love love as well.”

I’ve been a firm believer in it for a long time. There was always a part of me that yearned for a fairytale ending. As a child, I looked up to my parents’ example of a happy marriage and viewed finding a lifelong companion as a top priority. In light of this, I am relieved to have done so.

“I made that choice, and it made me happy,” Ora continued.

Continuing to heap praise on Waititi, Ora said, “And I love Taika, shout out to Taika.”

Ora responded, “He is so funny and lovely,” after actor Ray Winstone remarked that the couple looked “so gorgeous together.”

Thor: Love and Thunder co-stars Tessa Thompson and Rita Ora were photographed getting kissy with Waititi in May 2021.

The photo went viral, and it was rumoured that Waititi had been disciplined by Marvel executives for his role in the incident.

Waititi later told The Sydney Morning Herald that he wasn’t bothered by the backlash he received for the photo and didn’t believe he had broken any rules.

My impression is that in the internet age, things fade away rather rapidly. In addition, we might ask, “Does it really matter?” That’s not the case at all, no. There was no wrongdoing on my part. It’s all right.
