Lena Headey of Game of Thrones married her partner, Ozark actor Marc Menchaca, in a lavish ceremony in Italy.
According to photos shared online, the bride was dressed in a sleeveless halter neck gown with a plunging neckline and backless design.
Menchaca wore a navy-blue suit with a wide-brimmed beige hat, while Headey wore a floral headpiece and veil in her hair.
The couple married in front of family and friends, including fellow Game of Thrones actors Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Michelle Fairley, and Sophie Turner and her husband Joe Jonas. According to reports, the ceremony took place on Thursday (6 October).
Headey and Menchaca started dating in 2020. Headey was previously married to musician Peter Loughran, with whom she shares her 12-year-old son Wylie, from 2007 to 201.
Headey also has a seven-year-old daughter named Teddy from her relationship with Dan Cadan.
Headey and Menchaca’s wedding photos quickly went viral on social media, with fans praising the bride’s appearance.
One person wrote, “Happy for you, Queen Cersei,” referring to Headey’s role as Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones.
“I just hope he treats her right because she’s got a very passionate army behind her,” one person joked.
“I love how Lena is just the most expressive, joyful person,” a third person said.
Headey told The Sunday Times in 2019 that she believes refusing sex with Harvey Weinstein may have harmed her career.
“F***, maybe because I didn’t shag him, that’s impacted a decade of my working life,” Headey said.
“Because I did two jobs for Miramax [the film company founded by Weinstein] before those incidents, and then there was nothing,” she continued.
