Chrishell Stause, who stars on the show Selling Sunset, has asked her fans to “please stop asking” when she will start a family.
For the fifth season, the actor’s romantic involvement with her co-star and boss Jason Oppenheim was a major plot point. After much thought, however, Oppenheim and his partner decided to split up because he was not ready to start a family at that time.
Stause no longer works there. She came out of the closet in May, revealing that she was dating non-binary Australian musician G-Flip.
Now, Stause has posted the private message she received from a fan asking, “You didn’t want to have children?” to her Instagram story.
To which Stause replied, “Please stop asking me this,” as the post’s caption. At least this one didn’t repost any of the hateful content I refuse to support.
Stause made it clear that she is still eager to start a family and that she intends to do so through adoption.
Stause wrote, “I get that people were curious about my life because of Selling Sunset.”
However, I’m getting sick of being asked that. You’ve inspired me to love and support others, and for that I am eternally grateful.
It’s not a huge deal. There is nothing more stunning than love.

Stause has been vocal about her desire to start a family for a long time, and she has stated in the past that she is open to pursuing alternative fertility treatments that do not necessitate a male partner.
She told People in February, “We’ll see what happens with my future, but I definitely think that I’m keeping all my options open.”
I hope that [meeting someone] happens for you, but if it doesn’t, I’m confident that I can make it on my own.
Afraid as that may be, the thought that I don’t have to rush things because time is running out is actually quite liberating.
As Stause told viewers at the Selling Sunset reunion earlier this year, she is “enjoying right now and having a lot of fun” in her new relationship.
It’s not up to you where you meet someone. When you meet someone, it’s not up to you,” Stause said.
So, just recently, I’ve met someone who is also in a new phase of life. She continued, “I have been spending a great deal of time recently with someone who is very important to me.”
