2023 Golden Globes, The Red Carpet show off the Sizzling Fashions.

Tuesday saw the return of the Golden Globe Awards 2023 to television screens after a year hiatus caused by a boycott by studios and celebrities. At the same time, celebrities began returning to the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles in grand fashion.

Not only does the event act as a predictor for the winners of the Academy Awards in March, but it also forecasts the fashion trends that will be prevalent throughout the rest of awards season.
The likes of Selena Gomez, who donned a dramatic Valentino gown, and Jamie Lee Curtis, who wore a lace shawl over her strapless jumpsuit, were just two examples of the many guests that arrived dressed in black and gothic-inspired attire (also by the Italian label). A number of other celebrities, including Liza Koshy and actor Paige Butcher, chose to wear dark lace costumes as well.

Nevertheless, there were sudden bursts of colour, in addition to a plethora of ruffles and shimmering sequins. Julia Garner was one of numerous stars to wear powdered pink, as she arrived in a three-tiered Gucci design. Laverne Cox wowed in a vintage John Galliano gown, and she was one of the stars who wore powdery pink. This year, the organisers rolled out a grey carpet, so both Lily James and Monica Barbaro, who played Maverick in “Top Gun: Maverick,” took advantage of the opportunity to wear striking red outfits.

A number of the evening’s male attendees deviated from the custom of dressing in black-tie attire by donning garish and embellished garments. This ranged from the enormous silk flower that was affixed to Eddie Redmaye’s tuxedo to the powder blue Louis Vuitton suit that was worn by Barry Keoghan, who starred in “The Banshees of Inisherin.” In other news, Reece Feldman wore a pleated skirt, while Josh Richards, a TikTok celebrity, wore a cropped T-shirt underneath his pinstripe suit. Both of these looks were seen elsewhere.

But it was Billy Porter who wore a Christian Siriano tuxedo gown that put a magenta twist on his game-changing look for the 2019 Academy Awards. He was the one who stole the show.
